In 2005, Kristen served as the academic director for NYU Online: Undergraduate Degrees for Adults and the faculty chair for the Master of Science in Instructional Design blended online program. In 2006, she founded the NYU School of Professional Studies’ Office of Distance Learning. As the director for the Office of Distance Learning, she led the development of online masters degrees, undergraduate and graduate online courses, and online certificates until 2011. Thereafter she served as the assistant dean of the division of program in business at NYU School of Professional Studies.

As the current director of learning sciences for the W.R Berkley Innovation Labs, most of Kristen’s work involves the creation of robust blended learning experiences for business school students. She work with faculty and administrators to design blended online courses and programs. In addition, she teaches several courses in a blended online format including Data Visualization, Foundations of Statistics Using R programming, and eCommunities using Social Media.
